Gaff’s Quality Meat began in 1947 in Detroit, Michigan, when our grandfather, Andrew Gaffka, built the first Gaff’s with his own hands alongside the help of his family. A father of five, Andrew passed down not only the trade of butchery, but also the values of hard work, pride in craftsmanship, and treating customers like family.

Over the years, the business traveled from Detroit all the way to sunny Florida, where Gaff’s has operated multiple locations. Today, our two current stores proudly serve the wonderful communities of Port Orange and DeLand, Florida. Both locations are owned and operated by family members who live and work right here in the community.

At Gaff’s Quality Meat, we specialize in high-quality beef, chicken, and pork. Our ground chuck and ground sirloin are fresh-ground daily, with no added preservatives or dyes — unlike what you’ll often find in big box stores. Our beef comes from Nebraska, raised holistically, grass-fed and grain-finished, delivering exceptional flavor, consistency, and quality you can trust.

We make a variety of sausages, from traditional Italian to English bangers, and we’re always getting creative with new flavors — stop in and see what’s new. And don’t forget the bacon — we smoke our own bacon and slice it to order.

Beyond our meat counter, we proudly offer a full fresh seafood department, featuring items such as succulent crab legs, fresh fish fillets, and prepared favorites like our famous shrimp cocktail and in-house smoked salmon. Our seafood selection changes with market availability, so stop in and see what’s new.

In our deli, you’ll find house-made roast beef and turkey breast, along with a wide selection of Boar’s Head meats and cheeses. We also carry a large variety of take-and-bake entrées and sides, including customer favorites like chicken parmesan, shepherd’s pie, chicken pot pie, and penne alla vodka, just to name a few.

Our deli case is stocked daily with freshly made favorites such as a variety of potato salads, pasta salads, chicken salad, and kale salads — and much more. The selection is always growing, so there’s always something new to try.
